With Our First Build Complete, Here's Our Journey So Far
It's been a busy few months here at Harbur Park and Leisure Homes, and we're excited to share our progress with you!
Our first project was undertaken for a client who wanted to replace an old, tired portacabin with something that would be more functional and have space for growth. As with all our future builds, our homes are constructed using SIPs to provide an airtight, energy efficient environment. The windows are from recycled plastic framed windows, all providing that sustainable edge. Our standout exterior is wrapped in seamless black cladding - a timeless contemporary industrial look which will stand the test of time. The mono pitch roof is solar panel ready. The internal wall panelling added character to the interior and the sockets and layout were customised to suit.
The client was absolutely delighted with the final product, and has ordered another five, we were so proud to show off our work! We've already started on our second build our first residential park home and we're confident that it will be just as successful as the first. We're looking forward to continuing to grow our business and making a positive impact on the environment!
We're grateful for the opportunity to have built something that meets both our standards for quality and sustainability as well as our client's needs for functionality. We'll continue to strive for this level of excellence in all our future projects. Thank you for following us on this journey! To view our video click here

More About Our Build Quality and Why we use SIPs in our homes
SIPs (structural insulated panels) are a type of panel that is made up of an insulating foam core sandwiched between two layers of oriented strand board (OSB). SIPs are an extremely efficient way to build a residential park home or holiday lodge because they provide superior insulation compared to traditional Stick Framing methods. They also minimize air leakage, which further improves the energy efficiency of your home. Plus, SIPs are made from renewable resources like wood fiber and plant-based resin, which makes them a more sustainable option for building homes.
